A visit to the galleries and covered passages is an attraction that allows you to discover the capital's heritage of the late 19th century. They allow a luxurious stroll when winter sounds or when you wish to find a shady spot.

 

  • Passage des Panoramas:

This covered passage is considered the first in Paris. Sheltered by a superb glass roof, this passage is registered as a historical monument.

One finds there shops of mouth, craftsmen of art, some secondhand tradesmen and especially the Theater of the Variety.

The decor of this passage has kept its old style and this adds even more charm to the place.

  • Galerie Vivienne :

This gallery is one of the most emblematic of Paris. Its floor is made of mosaics with colorful patterns. Its glass roof lets the daylight illuminate the whole space.

There is a large number of stores: ready-to-wear boutiques, tea rooms, gourmet stores, grocery stores, ....

  • Passage Jouffroy

This passage is one of the busiest in Paris. Its main asset is the diversity and originality of its restaurants and stores : old canes, paper specialist .... It also houses the Valentin tea room.

  • Passage Brady

The Brady passage is separated in two. One side is covered while the second is open.

This passage is commonly called Little India because it hosts multiple Indo-Pakistani, Mauritian and Reunionese shops. One can go there to taste spicy dishes, to buy exotic products or to rent colorful costumes.
